Very nice area for a walk with children. Watch the ships right on the Rhine and the castle ruins are also beautiful to look at. The location is closed due to Corona, I assume that when it opens again, stopping in will round off the excursion. Definitely recommendable.

One of my favorite places. I've been coming here for more than 30 years. Food is great. The staff very nice. The view of the Rhine is perfect. Cozy and romantic when it's not that crowded. but even then absolutely great. !

Food was good but expensive. An elderly gentleman served us, he was just rude and cheeky ... so only two stars.

For decades THE location in Kaiserswerth, either sitting comfortably inside with a delicious meal and fine wine, or in the winter garden with fresh streusel apple cake with delicious coffee and a view of the Rhine, in good weather under the old trees on the terrace with a freshly tapped key from friendly Employees ... a popular meeting point for young and old ... Precautions in the form of plexiglass between the seats are made during the Corona period. There's something to see everywhere, I snapped the figures on the toilet. A tour to the castle courtyard is always worthwhile 👍

Large parking lot, 4 euros with a consumption voucher, great solution. Friendly staff, delicious cakes, great views of the Rhine. From a Düsseldorf point of view, beer advertising has to be talked about again ... 😉

Here you pretend Corona is no longer an issue, be careful! Otherwise a nice place, but sitting close and not keeping lists is not possible, sorry

Of course you pay for the beautiful corner and the ambience here. But a salad, especially too much lettuce with a bit of turkey, for 13.90, not even bread, is too expensive. The organization during Corona also leaves a lot to be desired. But the view of the Rhine makes up for a lot.

Very very nice Biergarten with a great view to the river. It is a pleasure to look at sunset from there.

We were in the beer garden for late breakfast and can already recommend the location. I can't say much about the food, but I would like to mention the friendly and pleasant staff. We will come back to test the sunset and the food.

Very nice beer garden. You can't beat the location. Right on the Rhine & Kaiserpfalz with large old trees. Beautiful. The drinks are brought to the table. You have to pay immediately. You order the food at a window. You get a number and can pick it up when it's ready. The food is average. Most dishes are not complicated. I find it personally uncomfortable to always pay everything directly. Spending a cozy evening there is probably not expected.

Decent place for a quick snack, coffee or beer. Not the cheapest place around but you pay for the location, the view of the river is amazing and the building is historical.

✔️Great location and beautiful place, with an awesome view of the Old Castle's Ruins and the river. Prices are fair, rounding about the 5€ for drinks and 10€ for food. ❌ Service could be way better. Impolite and rude waitresses, unwilling to provide solutions and make customers feel welcomed.

First time here, it is utterly civilized. Coffee was good and the breakfast platter was excellent. Décor in the wider building was odd and a little gothic. Not bad just odd.

Really nice beer garden by the Rhine river. Awesome views, outside sitting area (perfect for hot summer days and cold beer). If you want to eat something you have to try their Pfannkuchen (typical German dish) which is very thin and very delicious 😋 Overall a good quality restaurant and worth a visit during summer.

Really you shouldn’t be reading this review- just go here. It’s an awesome beer garden right on the Rhine and next to the ruins of an old castle. You can sit among the gorgeous old chestnut trees and drink beer and order great food. To me, it’s the quintessential beer garden experience. Oh, and if you’re coming from Düsseldorf on a summer’s day, the bike path on either side of the Rhine will take you right here.
